Citrus Miso White Bean Dip/Spread
Great northern beans ranks as one of the best beans to use for making dips and sandwich spreads due to their mild flavor and perfect texture when pureed. This combination of savory brown rice miso with orange juice and zest, highlighted with toasted sesame oil and chives is especially good-and extremely easy and quick to prepare.
- 1 cup great northern beans, cooked
- 1 teaspoon brown rice miso (genmai miso)
- 4 teaspoons organic orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon zest from organic orange
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh chives, chopped
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and puree until smooth.
